I would elaborate on that quote, but I think Kris Carr said it just right.
What can you change today? Since it is 7:45 AM let’s think about what you can change about your breakfast. What do you have? Is it a bagel with cream cheese? A bacon egg and cheese? Just coffee? Whatever it is, think about how that is affecting the rest of your day. Think about it, what you eat in the morning will be in your body for the rest of the day. What do you want to fuel you?
Breakfast is so important and it’s easy to find fast but healthy foods on the run. Starbucks has oatmeal, raw granola bars, they even have veggie juice now. These are also things that you can easily make or store at home too. Whatever you do, do not skip breakfast (or any meal for that matter). Especially if you are trying to lose weight. Skipping meals only slows down your metabolism and yep you guessed it, eating whole foods speeds it up!
Today I made myself a Snow Day Green Smoothie (See Above)! I don’t always make smoothies but this one was on my mind since last night. It is avocado, banana, blueberries, honey, kale, and almond coconut milk…and it is BOMB.
